The Revelation of John

Prologue

1 The revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave to Him to show His servants the things that are necessary to take place soon, and He made it known after sending His angel to His servant John 2 who bore witness to the word of God and the witness of Jesus Christ to all that he saw. 3 Blessed is the one reading and those hearing the words of the prophecy and keeping what has been written in it, for the time is near.

Greeting to the Seven Churches

4 John to the seven churches that are in Asia:

Grace to you all and peace from Him who is and who was and who is coming, and from the seven spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

To the One loving us and freeing us from our sins by His blood, 6 and makinga us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father, to Him be the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him even those who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn on account of Him. Yes. Amen.

8 I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who was and who is and who is coming, the Almighty.”

Vision of the Son of Man

9 I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patience in Christ, was on the island being called Patmos because of the word of God and the witness of Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet 11 saying, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Symrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”

12 And I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me, and after turning, I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a Son of man, clothed with a long robe and around His chest, a golden sash. 14 And His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow, and His eyes were like a flame of fire. 15 And His feet were like burnished bronze, like they has been refined in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters, 16 and He was holding in His right hand seven stars, and from His mouth came a sharp, two—edged sword, and His face was like the shining of the sun in its strength.

17 And when I saw Him, I fell down at His feet like I was dead, and He laid His right hand on me saying, “Do not fearb, I am the first and the last, 18 and the living One, and I was dead, and behold I am alive forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and Hades. 19 Write, therefore, the things that you saw and that are and that are about to take place after this. 20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

To the Church in Ephesus

2 “To the angel of the church in Ephesus, write: 'The words of the One holding the seven stars in His right hand, walking in the midst of the seven golden lampstands.

2 “ 'I know your works and toil and your patience and that you are not able to bear with those who are evil and tested those calling themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be liars. 3 And you have patience, bearing up for my name's sake and have not grown weary. 4 But I have against you that you left your first love. 5 Remember, therefore, from where you have fallen and repent and do the first works. But if not, I come to you and remove your lampstand from its place if you do not repent. 6 But this you have that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans which I also hate. 7 The one having ears, hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one overcoming I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.'

To the Church in Smyrna

8 “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna, write: 'The words of the first and the last, who was dead and came to life:

9 “ 'I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich) and the blasphemy of those calling themselves Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10 Do not fearc what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you all into prison in order that you all may be tested and have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11 The one overcoming will not be hurtd by the second death.'

To the Church in Pergamum

12 “And to the angel of the church in Pergamum, write: 'The words of the One having the sharp, two—edged sword.

13 “ 'I know where you dwell, where the throne of Satan is, and you hold onto my name and did not deny my faith even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was killed among you all where Satan dwells. 14 But I have a few things against you that you have some there holding the teaching of Balaam who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel to eat food sacrificed to idols and to practice illicit sexual intercourse. 15 So also, you have some holding the teaching of the Nicolaitans, likewise. 16 Repent therefore, but if not, I will come to you soon and fight with them with the sword of my mouth. 17 The one having ears, hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one overcoming, I will give the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, a new name having been written on the stone that no one knows except the one receiving it.

To the Church in Thyatira

18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira, write: 'The words of the Son of God, the One having His eyes like a flame of fire and His feet like burnished bronze:

19 “ 'I know your works and your love and faith and service and patience, and your last works exceed your first. 20 But I have against you that you allow the woman Jezebel, the one calling herself a prophetess and teaching and deceiving my servants to fornicate and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent, and she does not wish to repent from her illicit sexual intercourse. 22 Behold, I throw her onto a sickbed and those who commit adultery with her, I throw into great tribulation if they do not repent of their works, 23 and her children I kill dead. And all the churches will know that I am the One searching minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you all according to your own works. 24 But I say to the rest of you all in Thyatira who do not hold this teaching, who do not know the deep things of Satan, as they say, I do not lay on you all another burden: 25 nevertheless, hold onto what you all have until I come. 26 And the one conquering and keeping my works until the end, I will give to him authority over the nations, 27 and he will shepherd them with a rod of iron like when earthen pots are broken into piecese 28 even as I have received from my Father, and I will give to him the morning star. 29 The one having ears, hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'

To the Church in Sardis

3 And to the angel of the church in Sardis, write: 'The words of the One having the seven spirits of God and the seven stars:

“ 'I know your works that you have the reputationf that you live and you are dead. 2 Be vigilant and establish what remains that is about to die, for I have not found your works complete before my God. 3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard and keep it and repent. If then, you are not vigilantg, I will come like a thief, and you will not knowh what hour I will come against you.i 4 But you have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white since they are worthy. 5 The one overcoming will be clothed as such in white garments and I will never blot out his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father and before His angels. 6 The one having an ear, hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'

To the Church in Philadelphia

7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia, write: 'The words of the holy One, the true One, the One having the key of David, the One opening and no one will shut, and shutting and no one opens.j

8 “ 'I know your works. Behold I have set before you an open door which no one is able to shut. I know that you have little ability, and you have kept my word and not denied my name. 9 Behold, I give those of the synagogue of Satan saying they are Jews and are not but lie — behold, I will make them come and worship before your feet and know that I loved you 10 because you kept my word of patience, and I will keep you from the hour of trial about to come on the whole world to test those dwelling on the earth. 11 I come soon. Hold onto what you have that no one may take your crown. 12 The one overcoming, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never go outk of it, and I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem coming down from heaven from my God, and my own new name. 13 The one having an ear, hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'

To the Church in Laodicea

14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea, write: 'The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God:

15 “ 'I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot or cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth 17 since you say, I am rich, and I have prospered, and I need nothing, and you do not know that you are wretched and pitiable and poor and blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold, having been refined by fire in order that you may be rich, and white garments in order that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seenl, and salve to an anoint your eyes in order that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I reprove and discipline; be zealous, therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I have stood at the door and I knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him and he with me.m 21 The one overcoming, I will give to him to sit with me on my throne even as I also overcame and sat with my Father on His throne. 22 The one having an ear, hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'”

The Throne in Heaven

4 After this, I looked, and behold, a door was openedn in heaven, and the first voice which I heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what is necessary to take place after this.” 2 Immediately, I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One was sitting on the throne. 3 And the One sitting there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian stone, and encircling the throne was a rainbow that has the appearance of an emerald. 4 And around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, and on their heads were golden crowns. 5 And from the throne proceeded flashes of lightning and soundso and thunder, and seven torches of fire were burning before the throne which are the seven spirits of God, 6 and before the throne, it was like a sea of glass like crystal.

And in the midst of the throne and encircling the throne are four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind: 7 and the first living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature was like an ox, and the third living creature had the face of a man, and the fourth living creature was like an eagle in flight. 8 And the four living creatures, each having six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and they do not rest day and night, saying,

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,

who was and who is and who is coming!”

9 And whenever the four living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him sitting on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him seated on the throne and will worship Him, who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God,

to receive the glory and the honor and the power,

because you created all things,

and through your desire they existed and were created.”

The Scroll and the Lamb

5 And I saw in the right hand of Him sitting on the throne a scroll, after having been written within and on the back, after having been sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel, preaching in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?” 3 And no one was able in heaven nor on earth nor under the earth to open the scroll or look into it, 4 and I was weeping greatly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or look into it. 5 And one of the elders said to me, “Do not weepp; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, overcame to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

6 And I saw in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven spirits of God, having been sent out into all the earth. 7 And He went and had taken the scroll from the right hand of the One sitting on the throne. 8 And when He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty—four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying,

“Worthy are you to take the scroll,

and to open its seals,

because you were slain,

and ransomed people for God by your blood,

from every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

10 and you made them a kingdom and priests to our God,

and they will reign on the earth.”

11 And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels encircling the throne and the four living creatures and the elders, and the number of them was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, 12 saying in a loud voice,

“Worthy is the Lamb after having been slain,

to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength,

and honor and glory and blessing!”

13 And every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea and all that is in them, I heard saying,

“To the One sitting on the throne and to the Lamb,

be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”

14 And the four living creatures were saying, “Amen!” and the elders fell and worshiped.

The Seven Seals

6 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and the one riding on it having a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came overcoming and to overcome.

3 And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4 And out came another horse bright red, and to the one sitting on the horse, it was given to him to take peace from the earth that they will kill one another, and he was given a great sword.

5 And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I saw, and behold a great horse, and the one riding on it had scales in his hand 6 and I heard something like a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quartq of wheat for a denariusr and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and the oil and the wine do not harms!”

7 And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come!” 8 And I heard, and behold a pale horse, and its rider's name was Death, and Hades was following after him, and they were given authority over a fourth of the earth to kill with a sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.

9 And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those after having been slain for the word of God and for the witness that they had. 10 And a great voice cried out, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on those dwelling on the earth?” 11 And they each were given a white robe and were told to rest a little longer until their fellow servants and their brothers should be fulfilled, who were about to be killed as they themselves also were.

12 And I saw when He opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, and the full moon became like blood, 13 and the stars of heaven fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds it winter fruit when shaken by a great wind, 14 and the heavens vanished like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island were removed from its place. 15 And the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, 16 and saying to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb 17 because the great day of their wrath came, and who is able to stand?”

The 144,000 of Israel Sealed

7 After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth that no wind might blowt on the earth nor on the sea nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the rising sun, holding the seal of the living God, and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels who were given to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying, “Do not harmu the earth nor the sea nor the trees until we seal the servants of God on their foreheads.” 4 And I heard the number of those sealed 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:

5 12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed,

12,000 from the tribe of Reuben,

12,000 from the tribe of Gad,

6 12,000 from the tribe of Asher,

12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali,

12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh,

7 12,000 from the tribe of Simeon,

12,000 from the tribe of Levi,

12,000 from the tribe of Issachar,

8 12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun,

12,000 from the tribe of Joseph,

12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed.

A Great Multitude from Every Nation

9 After these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude, that no one was able to number from every nation and tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb clothed in white robes and palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out in a great voice, saying, “Salvation to our God sitting on the throne and to the Lamb!” 11 And all the angels had stood encircling the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshipped God, 12 saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever! Amen!”

13 And one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these clothed in white robes, and from where did they come?” 14 And I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are those coming out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

15 “For this reason they are before the throne of God,

and serve Him day and night in His temple;

and the One sitting on the throne will dwell among them.

16 They will hunger no more, neither thirst anymore;

the sun will not strikev them,

nor any scorching heat.

17 Because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them,

and He will guide them to springs of living water,

and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

The Seventh Seal and the Golden Censer

8 And when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels who had stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. 3 And another angel came and stood at the altar holding a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne. 4 And the smoke from the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel. 5 And the angel had taken the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and there was thunder and soundsw and lightning and an earthquake.

The Seven Trumpets

6 And the seven angels holding the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.

7 And the first angel blew his trumpet, and there were hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were thrown upon the earth, and a third of the earth was burnedx, and a third of the trees was burned, and all the green grass was burned.

8 And the second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a whole mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood, 9 and a third of the creatures in the sea having soulsy died, and a third of the ships was destroyed.

10 And the third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwoodz, and a third of the waters became wormwood and many of the people died from the water because it with was made bitter.

12 And the fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun, and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were struck in order that a third of them may be darkened, and a third of the day might not shine, and likewise the night.

13 And I saw, and I heard one eagle flying in the midst of heavenaa, saying in a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to those dwelling on the earth from the blasts of the other trumpets the three angels are about to blow!”

9 And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star had fallen from heaven onto the earth, and he was given the key to the abyssab. 2 And he opened the shaft of the abyss, and smoke rose from the shaft like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened from the smoke of the shaft. 3 And from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and authority was given to them as the scorpions of the earth have authority. 4 And they were told not to harm the grass of the earth nor any green plant nor any tree except those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 And it was given to them not to killac them but to torment them for five months, and their torment was like the torment of the scorpion when it strings a man. 6 And in those days, people will seek death and will not find it and will desire to die, but death will flee from them.

7 And the appearance of the locusts were like horses after having been prepared for battle, and on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold, and their faces were faces of people, 8 and their hair was like the hair of a woman, and their teeth were like the teeth of a lion, 9 and they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots of horses rushing into battle. 10 And they have tails and stings like scorpions, and in their tails is the authority to hurt people for five months, 11 and they have a king over them, the angel of the abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddonad, and in Greek, he has the name Apollyonae.

12 The first woe passed; behold, two woes are still coming after this.

13 And the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard one voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel having the trumpet, “Release the four angels after having been bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 And the four angels were released, after having been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, to kill a third of mankind. 16 And the number of mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand; I heard their number. 17 And this is how I saw the horses in my vision and those riding them: wearing breastplates the color of fire and of sapphire and of sulfur, and the heads of the horses were like lions' heads, and out of their mouths came fire and smoke and sulfur. 18 From these three plagues, a third of mankind was killed from the fire and the smoke and the sulfur coming out of their mouths. 19 For the authority of the horses is in their mouths and their tails, for their tails are like serpents having heads, and by them they wound.

20 And rest of mankind, those who were not killed from the plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands in order that they not stop worshipping the demons and the idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood which are not able to see nor hear nor walk, 21 and they did not repent of their murders or of their sorceries or of their illicit sexual intercourse or of their thefts.

The Angel and the Little Scroll

10 And I saw another strong angel coming down from heaven, after having been wrapped in a cloud, and a rainbow was over his head, and his face was like the sun and his feet like pillars of fire, 2 and he was holding in his right hand a little open scroll. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left on the land, 3 and he cried out in a loud voice like a lion roaring. And when he cried out, the seven thunders spoke their voices. 4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders said, and do not writeaf it.” 5 And the angel, whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land, raised his right hand to heaven 6 and swore by Him living forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it that there will be no more delay, 7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he was about to blow his trumpet, and the mystery of God was fulfilled as he preached to his servants the prophets.

8 And the voice that I heard from heaven again was speaking with me and saying, “Go, take the scroll that is open in the hand of the angel standing on the sea and on the land.” 9 And I went to the angel, saying to him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me, “Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.” 10 And I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it, and it was sweet as honey in my mouth, and when I ate it, my stomach was made bitter. 11 And he said to me, “It is necessary for you to prophesy again about many peoples and nations and languages and kings.”

The Two Witnesses

11 And I was given a measuring rod like a staff, being told, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those worshipping there. 2 And the court outside the temple leave out and do not measureag that because it is given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. 3 And I will give authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, after having been clothed in sackcloth.”

4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the Lord of the earth. 5 And if anyone desires to harm them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes, and if anyone desires to harm them, this is how it is necessary for him to be killed. 6 They have the authority to shut the sky in order that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they desire. 7 And when their witness is complete, the beast rising from the abyss will make war with them and overcome them and kill them. 8 And their dead will lie in the street of the great city that spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt where their Lord was crucified. 9 And those of the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will see their dead bodies for three and a half days and refuse to let their bodies be placed in a tomb. 10 And those dwelling on the earth will rejoice over them and be merry and send one another presents because these two prophets tormented those dwelling on the earth. 11 And after the three and a half days, a breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those seeing them. 12 And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here!” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies watched them. 13 And in that hour, there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14 The second woe passed; behold, the third woe is coming quickly.

The Seventh Trumpet

15 And the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying, “The kingdom of the world became the kingdom of our Lord and His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.” 16 And the twenty-four elders sitting before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshipped God, 17 saying,

“We thank you, Lord God Almighty,

who is and who was,

because you have taken your great power,

and reigned.

18 And the nations were angry,

and your wrath came,

and the time for the dead to be judged,

and to give gifts to your servants, the prophets and saints,

and those fearing your name,

both small and great,

and to destroy those destroying the earth.”

19 And the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple, and there were lightning and soundsah and thunder and an earthquake and great hail.

The Woman and the Dragon

12 And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman having been clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and on her head a crown of twelve stars, 2 and she was pregnant and crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth. 3 And another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns, 4 and his tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them onto the earth. And the dragon had stood before the woman about to give birth in order that when she bore her child, he might devour it. 5 And she gave birth to a male child who is about to shepherd all the nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught up to God and to His throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place, having been prepared by God in order that there, she might be nourished for 1,260 days.

Satan Thrown Down to Earth

7 And war rose in heaven; Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, 8 and they were not strong enough, neither was a place found for them anymore in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the ancient serpent, the one being called devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world — he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10ai And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ came because the accuser of our brothers was thrown down, the one accusing them day and night before our God. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of His witnesses, and they did not love their souls even unto death. 12 For this reason, rejoice, the heavens and those dwelling in them! Woe to the earth and to the sea because the devil came down to you all having great wrath because he knows that he has little time.”

13 And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who gave birth to the male child. 14 And the woman was given two wings of the great eagle in order that she might fly into the wilderness to her place where she is nourished for a time, and times and half a time from the face of the serpent. 15 And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman in order to sweep her away with a flood. 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river that the dragon poured from his mouth. 17 And the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war with the rest of her offspring, with those keeping the commandments of God and having the witness of Jesus. 18 And he stood on the sand of the sea.

The First Beast

13 And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads and ten crowns on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. 2 And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, and its feet were like a bear's, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And the dragon gave to it his power and his throne and great authority. 3 And one of its heads was like it was wounded to death, and its death wound was healed. And the whole earth marveled after the beast 4 and worshipped the dragon because he gave authority to the beast and worshipped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to fight with it?”

5 And it was given a mouth, saying loud and blasphemous things, and authority was given to it for forty—two months. 6 And it opened its mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name and His tentaj, those dwelling in heaven. 7 And it was given to it to make war with the saints and overcome them,ak and authority was given to it over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. 8 And all dwelling on the earth will worship it: those whose name has not been written in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain before the foundation of the world. 9 If anyone has an ear, hear:

10 If anyone is taken captive,

to captivity he goes;

if anyone is to be killed with the sword,

with the sword he is to be killed.

Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

The Second Beast

11 And I saw another beast rising out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And it had all the authority of the first beast before it and makes the earth and those dwelling on it to worship the first beast, whose wound of death was healed. 13 And it does great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth before the people, 14 and it deceives those dwelling on the earth through the signs that were given to it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth to make an image of the beast that has the wound of the sword and lived. 15 And it was given to it to give breath to the image of the beast in order that the image of the beast might even speak and make as many as would not worshipal the image of the beast be killed. 16 And it makes all, small and great, and rich and poor, and free and slave, to give marks to them on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and that no one is able to buy or sell except those having the mark of the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 But this is wisdom: the one having understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.

The Lamb and the 144,000

14 And I saw, and behold, the Lamb stood on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000 having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice I heard was like harpists playing on their harps. 3 And they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders, and no one was able to learn the song except the 144,000, after having been redeemed from the earth. 4 These are those not defiling themselves with women, for they are virgins, those following the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb, 5 and in their mouth no lie was found; they are blameless.

The Messages of the Three Angels

6 And I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those dwelling on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and language and people, 7 saying in a loud voice, “Fear God and give Him glory because the hour of His judgment came, and worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and springs of water.”

8 And another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, who, from the wine of the wrath of her illicit sexual intercourse, all the nations had drunk.”

9 And another angel, a third, followed them saying in a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself will drink from the wine of the wrath of God, after having been poured undiluted in the cup of His anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur before the holy angels and before the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they do not have rest, day and night, those worshipping the beast and its image and whoever receives the mark of its name.”

12 Here is the patience of the saints, those keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a loud voice from heaven, saying, “Write: Blessed are the dead, those dying in the Lord from now.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their works follow them!”

The Harvest of the Earth

14 And I saw, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud one like a son of man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple crying in a loud voice to the One sitting on the cloud, “Sendam your sickle and reapan because the hour to reap came since the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 And the One sitting on the cloud thrust His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he had a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, the one having authority over the fire, and he called in a loud voice to the one having the sharp sickle, saying, “Sendao your sharp sickle and gatherap the clusters from the vine of the earth since its grapes are ripe.” 19 And the angel thrust his sickle on the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw them unto the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was tread upon outside the city, and blood came out from the winepress as high as the horse's bridle for 1,600 stadiaaq.

The Seven Angels with Seven Plagues

15 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and wonderful, seven angels having seven plagues which are the last, since with them, the wrath of God is finished.

2 And I saw something like a sea of glass, after having been mixed with fire — and those overcoming the beast and its image and the number of its name standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of God. 3 And they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,

“Great and wonderful are your works,

Lord God the Almighty!

Just and true are your ways,

King of the nations!

4 Who does not fearar, Lord,

and glorify your name?

Because you alone are holy.

All the nations will come

and worship before you,

because your righteousness was revealed.”

5 And after these things, I saw, and the temple of the tent of witness in heaven was opened, 6 and the seven angels having the seven plagues came out of the temple, after having been clothed in pure, bright linen and after having been wrapped with golden sashes around their chests. 7 And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever, 8 and the temple was filled with smoke of the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.

The Seven Bowls of God's Wrath

16 And I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.”

2 And the first angel went and poured his bowl on the earth, and bad and evilas sores came upon the people having the mark of the beast and worshipping its image.

3 And the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse, and every living soul died that was in the sea.

4 And the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the water saying,

“Just are you, who is and who was, O Holy One,

because you judged these.

6 Since they shed the blood of the saints and prophets,

and you have given them blood to drink.

They are worthy!”

7 And I heard the altar saying,

“Yes, Lord God the Almighty,

true and just are your judgments!”

8 And the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to scorch the people with fire. 9 And the people were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God having the authority over these plagues, and they did not repent to give Him glory.

10 And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness, and people gnawed their tongues in anguish, 11 and they blasphemed the God of heaven for their pain and sores, and they did not repent of their works.

12 And the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up in order to prepare the way for the kings from the eastat. 13 And I saw from the mouth of the dragon and from the mouth of the beast and from the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs, 14 for they are demonic spirits doing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world to assemble them for the battle on the great day of God the Almighty. 15 (Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one staying awake and keeping his garments that he does not walk aroundau naked and be seen in his shame!”) 16 And they assembled them at the place being called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

The Seventh Bowl

17 And the seventh angel poured out his bowl on the air, and a loud voice came from the throne of the temple, saying, “It is doneav!” 18 And there was lightning and soundsaw and thunder and a great earthquake such as there never was since man was on the earth: so great was that earthquake. 19 And the great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And Babylon the great was remembered before God to give to her the cup of the wine of the fury of His wrath.ax 20 And every island fled away, and no mountains were found. 21 And great hailstones, about a talentay, fell from heaven on people; and the people blasphemed God for the plague of the hail because the plague was exceedingly great.

The Great Prostitute and the Beast

17 And one of the seven angels holding the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show to you the judgment of the great prostitute sitting on many waters 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality, and those dwelling on the earth became drunk from the wine of her sexual immorality.” 3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding a golden cup in her hands, full of abominations and the uncleanness of her sexual immorality. 5 And on her forehead a name had been written, a mystery: “Babylon the great, the mother of prostitutes, and the abominations of the earth.” 6 And I saw the woman drunk from the blood of the saints and from the blood of the witnesses of Christ.

After seeing her, I marveled greatly. 7 And the angel said to me, “Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast carrying her, having seven heads and ten horns. 8 The beast you saw was and is not and is about to rise from the abyss and go to destruction. And those dwelling on the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel seeing the beast because it was and is not and is to come. 9 Here is the mind having wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains where the woman is seated. And there are seven kings; 10 five fell, one is, the other did not come yet, and when he does come, it is necessary for him to remain for a little while. 11 And the beast that was and is not, and it is an eighth, and it is of the seven, and it goes into destruction. 12 And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who did not yet receive a kingdom but receive authority as kings for one hour with the beast. 13 These have one resolve, and they give their power and authority to the beast. 14 They will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them because He is the Lord of lords and the King of kings, and those with Him are called and chosen and faithful.”

15 And he said to me, “The waters that you saw where the prostitute is seated are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. 16 And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute and will make her desolate and naked and will devour her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God gave to their hearts to do His purpose and to have one resolve and to give their royal power to the beast until the words of God are fulfilled. 18 And the woman that you saw is the great city having rule over the kings of the earth.”

The Fall of Babylon

18 After this, I saw another angel coming down from heaven having great authority, and the earth was brightened from his glory. 2 And he cried out in a strong voice,

“Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!

And she became a dwelling place for demons,

and a prison for every unclean spirit,

and a prison for every unclean bird,

and a prison for every unclean and hated beast.

3 Because all the nations have drunk

from the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality,

and the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality with her,

and the merchants of the earth grew rich, from the power of her luxurious living.”

4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying,

“Come out of her, my people,

that you all do not take partaz in her sins,

        and that you all do not receiveba her plagues;

5 because her sins are heaped as high as heaven,

and God remembered her unrighteousness.

6 Pay back to her as she paid back to others,

        and repay her double according to her works;

in the cup that she mixed, mix her a double portion.

7 As she glorified herself and lived in luxury,

as much as this, give her torment and sorrow,

because she says in her heart, 'I sit as a queen,

and I am no widow,

and sorrow I do not seebb.'

8 For this reason, her plagues will come in one day,

death and sorrow and famine,

and she will be burned up with fire;

because strong is the Lord God who judged her.”

9 And the kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality and lived in luxury with her, will weep and wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning 10 while standing far off because of the fear of her torment, saying,

“Woe, woe! You great city,

Babylon, the strong city,

because in one hour your judgment came.”

11 And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn for her since no one buys their cargo anymore; 12 cargo of gold and silver and jewels and pearls and fine linen and purple cloth and silk and scarlet cloth and all kinds of scented wood and all kinds of articles of ivory and all kinds of articles of costly wood and bronze and iron and marble 13 and cinnamon and spice and incense and myrrh and frankincense and wine and oil and fine flour and wheat and cattle and sheep and horses and chariots and slavesbc and human souls.

14 “And the fruit your soul greatly desires

went away from you,

and all your delicacies and splendors

are lost to you,

and they will never be found!”

15 The merchants of these, after gaining wealth from her, will stand far off because of the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,

16 “Woe, woe, the great city,

after having been clothed in fine linen,

and purple and scarlet,

and gilded in gold,

and jewels and pearls!

17 because in one hour all this wealth was laid waste.”

And all the shipmasters and all the seafaring men and sailors and all those whose work is on the sea stood far off 18 and cried out, seeing the smoke of her burning,

“What city was like this great city?”

19 And they threw dust on their heads and were crying out, weeping and mourning,

“Woe, woe the great city,

in which all who had ships at sea grew rich

from her wealth!

Because in one hour she was laid waste.

20 Rejoice over her, heaven,

and you saints and apostles and prophets,

because God judged your judgment against her!”

21 And one mighty angel raised up a great stone like a millstone and threw it into the sea, saying,

“In such violence will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down,

        and will not be foundbd anymore;

22 and the sound of harpists and musicians and flute players and trumpeters

will not be heardbe in you anymore,

and any craftsman of any craft

will not be foundbf in you anymore,

and the sound of a mill

will not be heardbg in you anymore,

23 and the light of a lamp

will not shinebh in you anymore,

and the voice if bridegroom and bride

will not be heardbi in you anymore,

because your merchants were the great ones of the earth,

since in your sorcery all the nations were deceived.

24 And in her was found the blood of the prophets and saints,

and of all those after having been slain on the earth.”

Rejoicing in Heaven

19 After this, I heard something like the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven saying,

“Hallelujah!

Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

2 since true and just are His judgments,

because He judged the great prostitute

who was corrupting the earth with her sexual immorality,

and avenged the blood of His servants at her hand.”

3 And a second time, they had spoken,

“Hallelujah!

And the smoke from her rises up forever and ever.”

4 And the twenty—four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God sitting on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!” 5 And from the throne came a voice, saying,

        Praise our God,

all His servants,

and those fearing Him,

the small and the great.”

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

6 And I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters and like the sound of strong thunder saying,

 “Hallelujah!

Because the Lord our God

the Almighty reigns.

7 We should rejoice and exult

and give Him glory,

since the marriage of the Lamb came,

and His bride prepared herself;

8 and it was given to her to clothe herself

with fine linen, bright and pure” —

for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

9 And he said to me, “Write: Blessed are those after having been invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.” 10 And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he said to me, “You must not do that!bj I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers holding to the witness of Jesus. Worship God.” For the witness of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.

The Rider on a White Horse

11 And I saw heaven being opened and behold a white horse and the One sitting on it being called Faithful and True and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 But His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns, having a name written that no one knows except Him. 13 And He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name He has been called is The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven were following Him on white horses, after having been clothed in fine linen. 15 And from His mouth comes a sharp sword that with it He should strike down the nations, and He will shepherd them with a rod of iron, and He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 And He has on His robe, and on His thigh a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

17 And I saw one angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice, saying to all the birds flying in the midst of heaven, “Come, gather for the great supper of God 18 that you all might eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of captains and the flesh of strong men and the flesh of horses and of those riding them and the flesh of all men, both slave and free both small and great.” 19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, after having been gathered to make war with the One sitting on the horse and with His army. 20 And the beast was captured also with its false prophet, the one doing signs before it by which he deceived those receiving the mark of the beast and those worshipping its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulfur. 21 And the rest were killed by the sword of the One sitting in the horse, coming from His mouth, and all the birds were gorged from their flesh.

The Thousand Years

20 And I saw an angel coming down from heaven holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he seized the dragon, the ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, 3 and threw him into the abyss and shut and sealed it over him in order that he may not deceivebk the nations any longer until the thousand years should be completed. After this, it is necessary he be released for a little while.

4 And I saw thrones and those seated on them, and judgment was given to them, and the souls of those who were beheaded because of the witness of Jesus and because of the word of God and those who did not worship the beast or its image and did not receive the mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is the one having a part in the first resurrection! Over such the second death does not have authority, but they will be priests of God and Christ and reign with Him for a thousand years.

The Defeat of Satan

7 And when the thousand years was completed, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for war as their number is like the sand of the sea. 9 And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and consumed them. 10 And the devil who was deceiving them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where both the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Judgment Before the Great White Throne

11 And I saw a great white throne and Him sitting on it from whose face the earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, having stood before the throne. And books were opened, and another book was opened which is the book of life, and the dead were judged by what was written in the books according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each according to their works. 14 And Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

The New Heaven and the New Earth

21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth went away, and the sea is no more. 2 And the holy city, new Jerusalem, I saw coming down out of heaven from God, after having been prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tent of God is with man, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God. 4 And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more. Neither will there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore because the first things went away.

5 And the One sitting on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new,” and He said, “Write because these words are faithful and truth.” 6 And He said to me, “It has been done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty, I will give from the spring of the water of life freely. 7 The one overcoming will inherit this, and I will be God to him and he will be a son to me. 8 But to the cowardly and faithless and abhorrent and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur which is the second death.”

The New Jerusalem

9 And there came one of the seven angels holding the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues, and he spoke with me saying, “Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper clear as crystal. 12 It had a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and at the gates, twelve angels and names having been written which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel — 13 on the east three gates and on the north three gates and on the south three gates and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15 And the one speaking with me was holding a measuring rod in order to measure the city and its gates and its walls. 16 And the city lies square and its length the same as its width. And he measured the city with his rod: 12,000 stadiabl. Its length and width and height are equal. 17 And he measured its wall, 144 cubitsbm by measurement of man which is of an angel. 18 And the structure of its wall is jasper, and the city is pure gold clear as glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of jewel. The first foundation, jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, agate; the fourth, emerald; 20 the fifth, onyx; the sixth, carnelian; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each of the gates were from a single pearl, and the streets of the city were pure gold, transparent as glass.

22 And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty is its temple and the Lamb. 23 And the city does not have need of the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of the Lord illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb. 24 And the nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it, 25 and its gates are never shutbn by day — for there will be no night there. 26 And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. 27 And anything unclean will never enterbo into it — and those doing what is abhorrent and false — except those after having been written in the Lamb's book of life.

The River of Life

22 And he showed me the river of the water of life bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it and on either side of the river, was the tree of life making twelve kinds of fruit, each month giving its fruit, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of nations. 3 And no longer will there be anything accursed. And the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His servants will serve Him. 4 And they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. 5 And night will be no more, and they will not have need of light of lamp and light of sun because the Lord God will illuminate them, and they will reign forever and ever.

Jesus Is Coming

6 And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true, and the Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent His angel to show His servants what is necessary to take place shortly.”

7 “And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is the one keeping the words of the prophecy this book.”

8 And I, John, am the one seeing and hearing these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel showing them to me. 9 And he said to me, “You must not do that!bp I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets and those keeping the words of this book. Worship God.”

10 And he said to me, “Do not seal upbq the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11 The one being unjust, be unjust still, and the one who is filthy, be filthy still, and the one who is righteous, do righteousness still, and the one who is holy, be holy still.”

12 “Behold, I am coming soon and my reward with me to repay everyone as his work is. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

14 Blessed are those washing their robes in order that the authority will be theirs to the tree of life and they may enter in through the gates to the city. 15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone loving and practicing falsehood.

16 “I, Jesus, sent my angel to witness to you all about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

17 And the Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And the one thirsting, come; the one desiring, take the water of life freely.

18 I witness to everyone hearing the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues having been written in this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part in the tree of life and the holy city having been written in this book.

20 The one witnessing these things says, “Yes, I come quickly.” Amen. Comebr, Lord Jesus!

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.
